Julian Clef, pianist, performing in Chesterfield

Nottingham Symphony Orchestra’s first concert of the 2012-13 season will take place at Nottingham’s Albert Hall on Saturday, November 24.

Conducted by Derek Williams, the concert begins with Richard Strauss’s early tone poem Death And Transfiguration, followed by Schumann’s Piano Concerto, featuring talented young Nottinghamshire soloist Julian Clef.

The second half is taken up by Berlioz’s exciting and multi-faceted Symphonie Fantastique.
