New line-up for tribute band

LED Zeppelin tribute act Whole Lotta Led unveil their new line-up at Nottingham’s Rock City for a gig there on Friday, September 7.

After 12 years with the same band members (and having just beaten the length of time Led Zeppelin were together), Whole Lotta Led have undergone a change in line-up as four becomes five.

Joining the band on drums is Charlie Hart, a gifted musician who has long admired John Bonham’s drum style, new vocalist Lee Pryor, who effortlessly reproduces Robert Plant’s amazing vocals and last, but by no means least, David Wykeham-George who, as well as playing keyboards, will also be contributing guitar and backing vocals.

Founder members Nick Ferris (guitar) and Geoff Hunt (bass) are still there, continuing the legacy and ensuring the standard of performance is as high as it can be.

If you haven’t seen the band before you’ll be impressed and if you have seen the old band, come and witness the changes.

The Gloucestershire-based band are no Stars In Their Eyes lookalikes and concentrate on the music, performed with a collective enthusiasm and dedication that is second to none.

The shows consist of songs from the entire Zeppelin back catalogue including the all time classics Whole Lotta Love and of course Stairway To Heaven.

Given the thumbs-up by no less a guitar god than Jimmy Page himself, tickets to see Whole Lotta Led are £10. Doors open at 6.30pm and the box office number is 0845 413 4444.
