It’s a rockin’ good night out

It’s going to be like the last couple of decades of music never happened as the giants of the Hollywood Sunset Strip Hard Rock Scene hit the stage at MFN Nightclub in Shipley Gate on Friday, January 25. Sort of!

The UK’s only tribute to 80s hair metal legends Poison (the appropiately named Poizon) will be joined by Subhuman Race (A Tribute to Skid Row), while Surreal Panther (a tribute to Steel Panther) will be setting the stage alight with their over the top theatrics, trouser hugging spandex and some of the most addictive chorus lines ever committed to tape.

The event is being promoted by Hollywood Hair Metal, a new group of music loving fans who aim to bring some of the best tributes to hard rock to local venues in the Midlands.

The original Poison have not toured the UK for almost 20 years, even longer when you consider it was 1990 when the original line-up last performed over on our shores. This will be many rock fans’ first chance to see a show that pays tribute to their electric, mind blowing concerts.
