Henrik plays the blues

THE Henrik Freishlader Band will be the star attraction at a gig at The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, June 22.

The band is made up of four players with two particular things in common - they are all self-taught musicians and they all love to play the blues.

Support on the night comes from the Ron Sayer Band, completing what should be a mouthewatering evening of music for blues fans.

It’s tribute time at the King Street venue on Saturday, June 23, when Four Fighters make a return visit.

They will be playing a rocking good selection of tracks made famous by Dave Grohl and his all-conquering band the Foo Fighters.

Finally, on Wednesday, June 27, from 9pm, there’s a free gig in the bar by Andy Richards, the latest musician to perform at the Acoustic Wednesdays sessions.

Doors open at 8pm and admission is £12 for the Henrik Freishlader Band and £8 for Four Fighters.
