Guitar ace Joanne returns

Ace blues rock guitarist Joanne Shaw-Taylor returns with a tour that takes in an appearance in the Darwin Suite at Derby’s Assembly Rooms on Wednesday, October 10, at 8pm.

The tour coincides with the release of her third album, Almost Always Never.

Joanne was discovered by Dave Stewart, of Eurythmics fame, at the age of just 16 and since then has become a firm favourite in the blues fraternity for her virtuosic skills as a performer.

She will perform new songs while also dipping into her back catalogue, showcasing tracks from her first two albums, White Sugar and Diamonds In The Dirt.
