George and Dragon to stage Octoberfest

The George and Dragon, based on Bridge Street in Belper, will host its third Octoberfest event, from Thursday to Saturday, October 25-27.

The event offers a treat for fans of beer and cider, not to mention live music.

You can enjoy 20 real ales and five ciders. In terms of free live music, you can see Hennessey and Gill playing rock and roll on the Thursday from 9pm, Double Cross playing rock covers from GreenDay, Quo, and Hendrix and others on the Friday from 9pm, while Saturday night has Unfinished Bizness with rock classics, playing 9pm til late. Food is available on Friday night and all day Saturday.
