Evanescence at the arena

Grammy Award winning rock band Evanescence will kick off their UK Tour at Capital FM Arena Nottingham on November 5.

The band have spent the summer playing sold out shows in Europe and around the world and head out on their Carnival of Madness Tour in the US at the end of July.

Recently, singer Amy Lee was chosen as the recipient of the Luella Bennack Award at United Cerebral Palsy’s 11th Annual Women Who Care Luncheon, for her work with the Out of The Shadows charity. The band also played at the Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo at the end of last year.

The band’s song Lost In Paradise is featured on AMP Rock TV’s new series The Words, while the last single My Heart Is Broken has ramped up over seven million views.

The Used and Lost Alone will support Evanescence. The Used formed in Orem, Utah in 2001. They issued their gold-certified Self-Titled debut in 2002, quickly cementing them as leaders among the post-hardcore elite. Their fifth full-length album, Vulnerable, was released earlier this year.

Lost Alone recently wowed fans at this year’s Download Festival at Donington Park and released their third single Paradox On Earth from their debut album I’m A UFO In This City on the same weekend.

Tickets are on general sale, priced at £28.50 (plus booking fee). For standing, under 14s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and over.

You can book your tickets online at www.capitalfmarena.com, via the ticket hotline on 0843 373 3000, or in person at Ticketing and Customer Services, Bolero Square, The Lace Market, Nottingham, NG1 1LA.
