Madam,

Driving past the American Adventure site you cannot help but notice the 'for sale' sign.
I live on Shipley View estate, which is very close to the American Adventure site.

I am concerned as to what will happen to the site. I understand that Amber Valley Borough Council is the relevant local planning authority, in relation to the American Adventure site.

Buyers are sought for the 112 acres, where the American Adventure Theme Park once stood, plus a further 227 acres which they leased off the council, all of this is green belt land.

I would like to know if Amber Valley Borough Council are consulting with the public and how are they involving the public?

I would love to see some of this land returned to the Shipley Park.
The public are the rightful owners.
