Madam,
As the winning candidate for the Nottinghamshire County Council division of Selston, I would like to thank all those in my ward for the support shown to me and everyone who voted for me.
It is because of this support that I am now the county councillor for the Selston Division and I appreciate all that support and feel very privileged to be representing this division.
My work at County Hall started on Monday where I have already made contact with key personnel in an effort to make good the pledges I have made.
I will be on foot patrol with the police on Friday.
Now is the time to work together for the betterment of the whole community, no matter what the varying political persuasions are.
I have written to all district councillors representing wards in the Selston division and the chair of Selston Parish Council, inviting them to a meeting where we will discuss the many local issues and possible solutions.
May I once again thank all those who have supported me and all those who voted for me.
