The life of one of Nottinghamshire's most famous exports has been brought to life through music in a new production about D H Lawrence.
Written and composed by Glyn Bailey, Scandalous! plays out the novelist's notrious exploits and shows how he became one of the most celebrated authors of the 20th century.

Nottingham Playhouse will hold a special 'read and sing' presentation evening for the production on Thursday, July 10 and Friday, July 11, starting at 7.30pm.

Tickets for the show, which cost £5, are available by calling the box office on 0115 9419419.
