Nigel pays fete a visit

Well-known Belper mountaineer Nigel Vardy opens the Hazelwood Church Fete and Classic and Vintage Car Show on Saturday July 19, at 2pm.
The show will be held on the Hazelwood playing field, adjacent to the Memorial Hall, when Nigel will be signing copies of his latest book, Once Bitten.

Attractions at the event include live entertainment with the BMW Band, Folk Friendzy dance team, and clown Uncle Michael.

A photography display by Ashley Franklin includes a photography competition, also to be judged by Ashley.

There will be a variety of stalls available, plus face painting carried out by the Hazelwood Church Young People's Group, competitions, cream teas and ice cream.
