The arrival of summer will be celebrated in a Peak District town with an exciting fair for all ages.
Bakewell mayor Carol Walker will open the town's summer fair on Saturday morning at the Medway Centre.

There will be a bouncy castle, a wide range of craft, plant and food stalls and games including drench-the-vicar and hook-the-duck.

Carol Wicksteed from Bakewell Parish Church said: "There will be plenty of activities for all ages, so bring friends and family to celebrate summer."

Bakewell Silver Band will play at 1.30pm and clowns will perform around the town.

Activities will run from 10.30am to 3pm.
