A special invitation has gone out to teddy bears in the area who fancy a trip on a steam train.
The Midland railway, at Butterley has invited children who bring their furry friends along to the centre to enjoy a free ride on the tracks over the weekend, July 5 and 6.

Along with the free ride visitors will be able to see the attractions at Swanwick Junction including two railway museums, a farm park, a country park and more.

Alan Calladine of Midland Railway said: "This weekend is a great opportunity for teddy bears and their ownners to enjoy the attractions of the Midland Railway-Butterley free of charge.

I would remind every child to make sure they bring their teddy bear along to make sure they do not miss out on this very special offer."
