Folk act visit
YOUNG dynamic folk duo Barron Brady come to Winster next month – and will be backed by the village's own choir.
The contemporary folk songwriters live in Devon and perform nationwide, and will be at the Burton Institute on Saturday, April 26, at 7.30pm.
They have a fresh acoustic style and a broad range of appeal, combining traditional British folk music with self-penned songs.
Barron Brady take inspiration from Devon fishermen, sailors, orchard keepers, witches and farmers.
Their debut album Somewhen received national airplay and excellent reviews and their soon-to-be-released second album Strange Harvest, features songs inspired by the folklore and stories of Devon.
