Birchwood Methodist Church in Somercotes is preparing for a blooming marvellous time at its flower festival later this month.
The festival at the Birchwood Lane venue will take place from Friday, June 27 to Sunday, June 29, with flower displays on show including ones from Somercotes Brownies, the Salvation Army, Somercotes Infant School.

It will run from 11am to 7pm on the Friday and Saturday, with refreshments available both days, and from 10.30am to 12.30pm on the Sunday.

All proceeds will be split between the contributing groups.
