A great atmosphere is on the cards at the birthday gig of a Heanor band.
NG26 is celebrating its tenth birthday in style with a free performance at MFN in Shipley.

Wednesday, August 6, will see the rock band perform songs from its first Break Away album, along with new material.

The band has promised a few surprises at the show to mark the occasion, including free CDs and DVDs for audience members., said a spokesman.

NG26 began in 1998 when two sets of brothers decided to form a band. The group started life as Eclipse but changed the name when the band started to develop a distinctive style.

The band is now working on material for a second album, and is enjoying huge radio success in the UK and in America. They are also poised to accept a record deal.

The birthday gig starts at 8pm.
