THE Nottingham Harmonic Society is to perform Elijah on Saturday, November 14 at 7.30pm.
The choir will be joined by Orchestra da Camera in the city's Albert Hall to perform Mendelssohn's classic work.

This concert is particularly special for the society because it is the first under the baton of new director of music, Richard Laing, who was appointed to the post earlier this year.

The society is excited by Richard's appointment and looks forward to a long and happy association with him.

Soloists for the concert are soprano Puzema Matshikiza, mezzo soprano Catherine Hopper, tenor Benjamin Segal and baritone George von Bergen. The work will be performed in English.

Ticket prices are £5 to 15 and concessions are available.
