A date with the duchess
Midland Railway- Butterley will be hosting a special guest over the weekend of July 12 and 13.
Royal locomotive Duchess of Sutherland will be hauling trains between the Ripley centre and Swanwick Junction during the weekend to celebrate the narrow gauge and model railways besed at the centre.
The Golden Valley Light Railway will be running a special gala weekend with demonstration freight trains and unusual locomotives.
Model and garden railway clubs at the Midland Railway will be showing their displays and discussing their hobbies.
