Shottle Hall, near Belper, staged a wedding fair.

HUNDREDS of brides and grooms-to-be attended a wedding fair near Belper on Sunday.

Among them were Louise Ashley and Christopher Barton.

The event, at Shottle Hall, featured dozens of exhibitors, including florists, photographers and wedding cake and bridal wear specialists.

Louise, 28, and Christopher, 32, from Derby, have already booked their big day at Shottle Hall and will tie the knot in September.

Louise said: “All our plans are in place so we didn’t really need to attend the wedding fair – but we couldn’t resist the chance for another look around. It’s just 24 weeks until we get married.”
