Somercotes pub burglary

Thieves broke into the Royal Tiger pub on Nottingham Road and ripped the cash box out of the pool table.

The break-in happened sometime between 3.30am and 9.30am on Sunday.

The thieves forced a window to gain access, damaged the pool table and left the cash box lying outside the pub. Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
