Police recruit 60 officers

A POLICE force is looking for new recruits for the first time in nearly four years.

Derbyshire Police is planning to take on 60 people to start training next year.

The force is particularly keen to encourage applicants who would be willing to work in the Buxton or Glossop areas.

The recruitment department has 750 application packs and is asking people to telephone the team on 0300 122 5999 to request a pack.

The lines will be open on May 9, 10 and 11, between 4pm and 8pm and will close as soon as all 750 packs have been issued.

Further information on the recruitment campaign is available by visiting the force’s website www.derbyshire.police.uk.
