New cop county chief

The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Derbyshire has today announced the appointment of David Peet as its new Chief Executive.

Mr Peet, previously Deputy Chief Executive of Northamptonshire Police Authority, is due to take up the role in April.

“I am, naturally, delighted, and am looking forward to working with Commissioner Alan Charles and his team as we all learn to tread new ground under the new legislation,” Mr Peet said.
