Memory Lane police competition.

Police chiefs pose with youngsters from the Ripley and Heanor area after a competition of some sort was held.

The children appear to be in school uniform, but we are not sure which school they came from – get in touch if you can fill us in. The children appear to be holding a cheque and presents, perhaps for their efforts in a campaign we think was aimed at discouraging glue sniffing.
