OUR weekly Rescue Me feature seeks to get unwanted pets back into homes and this week we have a bumper batch of them!

The RSPCA centre in Derby has been inundated with kittens and now has around 20 at the centre.

Communities manger at the shelter Karen Carter says is also has around 30 furry felines currently being fostered by volunteers of the shelter as well. She said: “We are asking if kind people are able to donate any kitten food for the little mouths and also toys to keep them occupied. All our kittens are ‘fleed’, wormed, health checked, micro-chipped and have a voucher issued to be neutered.”

To contact the centre call 01332 344620.
