RIPLEY Rotarians have made a generous donation to Mill Hill School to say thank you for using its facilities.

Owen Briggs, president of the Rotary Club of Ripley, presented a cheque for £300 to the Peashill school’s deputy head teacher Carey Savage when the club met at Lumb Farm in Marehay.

Fundraising and community chairman Stuart Rice said: “The donation to the school’s media section was the club’s way of saying thanks for the use of the school’s facilities during the Rotary Club’s Amber Valley’s Got Talent Competition.”
