More than 3,000 votes have been cast in our online poll - to see if you want a Morrisons built in Ripley.

Over the past year, plans to for the superstore on land off Nottingham Road have sparked numerous letters, emails, Facebook comments and tweets from our readers.Many of you feel the development could harm trade in the town centre, but plenty of you feel it could offer many benefits, including providing 300 new jobs.

The poll is now closed, but to check out the results grab a copy of this week’s Ripley and Heanor News, out on Thursday, March 14.
