The school will receive £9,650 to run after-school physical activity clubs for pupils and children in the wider community. Youngsters will be able to take part in cycling, fishing and outdoor educational work to help boost their social skills, self-esteem and confidence.

The Village Hall at Heage receives £10,000 to build disabled-friendly toilet facilities and replace the current deteriorating portacabin.

The latest round shares more than £443,000 between 58 community projects in the East Midlands.
