Bridge drive for charity

Ripley Bridge Club has raised a magnificent £1,340 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The funds were raised last year by two members who did a sponsored climb of 927 metre-high Ben Hope and at their annual Bridge drive.

Fundraising manager Tracy Townend thanked the club and said the money could help fund the costs of a Macmillan nurse for a week.
