Mr M. Peel : Obituary

Mr Michael Peel, of Chesterfield, has died at Ashcroft care home, Hady, aged 66. Born at Chesterfield and a life long local resident of the area, he was head teacher at Parkhouse Primary School, Pilsley and Woodbridge Junior School, Alfreton. Mr Peel was an avid supporter of Chesterfield Football Club, he enjoyed train spotting, walking, painting, drawing, pottery and reading. He also enjoyed travelling and camping. He leaves widow Jenny, daughters Liz and Katie and grandchildren Lia, Martha and Lewis. The service is due to take place at Chesterfield Crematorium, tomorrow, Friday, June 1 at 9.10am.
